      Bog Clubmoss is native to Newfoundland through Alaska south to Nova Scotia and New Jersey and Pennsylvania, the mountains of Virginia and West Virginia, northern Ohio, northern Indiana, northern Illinois, Minnesota, Idaho, and Oregon (Fernald 1950, page 13).
