These eggs were layed on the evening of April 4 2001, in the artificial ponds next to the Observatory at Georgetown University.

The following year the frogs returned one day earlier. The 2002 eggs were layed on the night of April 3rd.

In 2003 I noticed the first eggs on March 25.

In 2004 I noticed the first eggs on April 6th, but it looks as if they had been there for at least a week. The first days of april were rather cold in 2004, reaching the low 20s in the evening on the 4th and 5th.

In 2005 I noticed the first eggs on April 5th. They appeared to have been layed the night before. The frogs continued to visit and lay eggs in the ponds until April 8th.
